Training for Trainers in a Digital Age
The training course is for youth workers/leaders/trainers 23+
focused on developing competencies in the framework of non-formal education.
It is important to implement a good quality training programme. Some organizations, although well intended, lack the basic principles in training and non-formal knowledge and thus fail to efficiently pass the message that they are trying to send.
In addition, due to the technological advancement and increase in internet connectivity and usage, research shows that millennials developed a new sense of the meaning-making process. This change needs to be considered when designing training courses that are targeting millennials and is thus important to 'fuse' the traditional methods which are well known within the nonformal field with new methodologies to be more relevant to millennials.
